The Gamba Roja de Dénia Cuisine Competition

The Concept

Every year, the Mediterranean town of Dénia has a big competition for a tiny creature – the Gamba Roja de Dénia. This vibrantly red crustacean, is unique to the dark deep sea bottom just off the coast of the town here in Spain’s Valencia Community.

It’s taste is just as impressive as its looks are beautiful and bright. We loved attending the event and getting to see firsthand how the competition is managed.
